Luke's Birthday and Easter Egg Dyeing

We couldn't do anything too crazy this year for Luke's birthday, but we had a great day just hanging out and taking it easy with the pets. We also were able to go over to his mom's house for a super-tasty-but-appropriately-socially-distant dinner! 

I made my first German Chocolate cake and I have to say, I think it turned out pretty well :) 

 

That weekend was also Easter, and although I was personally pretty bummed not to do the usual family dinner, we got a LOT of yard work done and died Easter Eggs with Erica and Luke. There were a few casualties but they all turned out pretty well!
