Lower Shamokin Falls - April 21st

Yesterday we were able to escape the house for a little bit and hit Lower Shamokin Falls in Nellysford, VA. It's about 20 minutes from where we are and is a pretty mellow hike until you reach the end, where you have to do some steep up hill hiking, on loose dirt. We had Red with us so we didn't make it to the end, but he was so psyched to be there it didn't even matter!

He got lots of swimming in and was only faintly skunky on the car ride home :)
